Digital Stereotactic Table

ABBI

With this procedure we can remove lesser than 2cm breast lesions. After the localisation of a low or moderate suspicious of malignity lesion and its study on the digital stereotactic table, the lesions can be removed under local anaesthesia.

The aim of this minimally invasive technique is to remove the total lesion, so if the lesion is benign, the patient belongs to the group of healthy women again.

Indications for the technique:

- Low-malignity suspicious microcalcifications.
- Glandular distortions.
- Unwell defined opacity.

Advantages of the technique:

- Local anaesthesia.
- Short intervention.
- Quick recovering.
- Excellent aesthetic results.
- Minimal emotional impact.
- Non-habitual complication.

For each case we carry out a previous study through simulation, in order to check there are no contraindications for the technique.
