2.- It has no intraoperative complications and intraoperative morbility is insignificant.

3.- It is completed in a day in-patient stay and the patient can go back to his normal life in a few days. Immediately after the implant blood in the urine can be observed, the patient may also suffer irritative and obstructive symptoms that can prevail or even increase during the first two months due to the radioactive effect of the seeds. The symptoms can be controlled with minimal care and mild medication.

4.- It achieves a dose of radiation that exceeds between one and a half and two times the radiation achieved with external radiotherapy. It is important to understand that the radiation let out in the area is so low that it cannot be considered a risk for most people. Certain minimal precautions must be taken with children and pregnant women during the first two months.

5.- It avoids incontinence in 99% of the cases and impotence in 85% of the patients adequately selected.
